Pastor Mark DeMoss

Pastor Mark was called to our church on July 17, 2006.  Prior to joining us, he was the Pastor of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Bartlesville, OK for almost 5 years and the Minister to Students at Southern Hills Baptist Church for over 5 years.  He has a degree in Business from OU and a Master of Divinity with Bible Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife Susan have been married for 14 years and they have two children Noah and Hannah.  Susan is a teacher at Christian Heritage Academy in Del City.

Scott Gramling

Scott serves as Interim Minister to Students.  Scott was married to Laura in 1999.  They both graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma.  Scott graduated from Westmoore High School in 1993.  Laura graduated from Moore High School in 1995.  Although they reside in Newcastle, they love the South OKC/Moore area and have chosen to be members of Capitol Hill Baptist Church since 2004. Scott and Laura have two children, Hayden (5) and Holden (1).  Scott is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Laura is a Registered Nurse at Integris Southwest Medical Center and an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Oklahoma.

Betty Novak

Interim Children's Minister

After serving as high school principat at Yukon for 21 years, Betty retired in 1998. Betty was called to serve as Preschool and Children's Minister at Village Baptist Church, OKC in 1998 and retired in 2004. She and her husband Gerry moved to South OKC in 2003, and joined CHBC in January 2005.

Gerry taught HS Spanish at Western Heights High School and retired in Spring of 2005. He was an active deacon at VBC; taught Sunday School, and was very active in FAITH Evangelism Ministry.

Gerry and Betty have two married daughters, Lori and Heather. The joy of their life is definitely their three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Preslee and Brock.
