Relentless

Relentless is a Women’s Conference featuring the teaching ministry of Deanna Huff.  The conference begins on March 8, from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM, and concludes on Saturday morning from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  If you have not registered, do so here now: Relentless, or go to www.chbchurch.org/events/relentless.

Time Change

Saturday night before bed set your clocks ahead 1 hour so you can be on time for Sunday School and Worship.

Lord’s Supper

This Sunday morning we will be observing the Lord’s Supper.  Come prepared under the gospel of God’s grace that God Himself is inviting us to put or feet under His table.  Through the blood of Christ we are invited to fellowship with the Father of Heaven.  What an amazing reality we experience in part each time we observe the Lord’s Supper, and we will experience in full reality at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

It’s Coming

Sunday night at 5 PM join us in the Worship Center if you speak English, or in Solomon’s Porch if you speak Spanish to find out about exciting changes this summer, and to enjoy a sandwich fellowship to follow.  It’s Coming!

Guatemala

March 15 is the deadline to pay a deposit of $125 per person for the Guatemala Mission Trip.  July 5-12, 2019 is our Extend Guatemala Trip.  If you cannot go, consider giving, and most definitely be praying.  Our whole church is working to reach the people of Lo de Lac, Guatemala with the gospel.

Resolved

“Resolved, to inquire every night, as I am going to bed, wherein I have been negligent, what sin I have committed, and wherein I have denied myself: also at the end of every week, month and year.”  Jonathan Edwards made this resolution to himself and God in December of 1722.  Would you resolve today to do the same?

Relentless Women’s Retreat

March 8-9, the Women’s Ministry of CHBC is hosting a conference for women led by our own Deanna Huff.  More information and registration information is available at this link: Relentless.

AWANA Grand Prix

The Grand Prix has been rescheduled for this Wednesday night, March 6.  Be ready to come out and support our children, parents, and leaders for a fun night of outreach.

Summer Missions Opportunities

Guatemala

A team of approximately 12-14 people is needed to go to Guatemala this summer from July 5-12.  The cost will be $1200.  A $125 deposit per team member is due on March 15.  Please give your money to Pastor Mark or Pastor Isaias, or let them know that you are turning in your deposit through the offering plate.  The goals of the team will be to lead a teaching conference, train local church leaders, build relationships with a Baptist church in San Raymundo, Guatemala, lead worship services for the church planting effort in Lo de Lac, Guatemala, and visit homes to bring hygiene items and share the gospel.  If you have questions please send an email to .

North Carolina

Details are being finalized for a summer trip to North Carolina to work with the SBC Disaster Relief.  Pastor Aaron will coordinate this trip, so please address your questions to .  This will be a good trip in which you would be able to plan a family mission trip.

Resolutions

Jonathan Edwards attempted to plan his everyday life with the end in mind. We could learn from his thinking.  Consider this resolution: “Resolved, never to do anything, which I should be afraid to do, if I expected it would not be above an hour, before I should hear the last trump.”
