God’s Vision for CHBC: 3 Piers, 3 Pillars, and 3 Purposes
3 Purposes
God has ordained the purposes for which every church exists. We attempt to capture those purposes in three clear statements: CHBC exists to Equip Believers, Exalt Christ, and Extend the Gospel. Equipping believers involves discipleship in what Christians believe, what kind of person they become, and how they are to live. We say what to know, be, and do. For a believer to be discipled we want them to be in Sunday small groups called Sunday School, attend Worship weekly, be part of weekday Bible studies, have a one on one discipleship opportunity, and be in personal Bible reading.
