Jake has been a member of CHBC since 2014 and joined the staff as Communications Associate in June 2024. Jake also leads the College and Young Adult Ministries at CHBC. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, where he received a Bachelors in Sports Ministry while playing basketball and was on the track team. Jake received a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University in 2013 and a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2022. He plans to pursue a Doctor a Ministry in Biblical Counseling in the near future. Prior to coming to CHBC, he served as the Rec Center Manager at Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Jake is also a certified Biblical Counselor by the Association of Biblical Counselors. Jake enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching the Oklahoma Sooners, Duke Basketball and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has a very energetic frenchie named Oakley. His favorite passages of Scripture are Philippians 1:21 and 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.
