Senior Recognition Sunday

Join us for worship this Sunday as we recognize students who are graduating from area high schools. There are tables in the foyer where you can learn a little bit about each senior’s life and accomplishments. There is a journaling Bible that each senior will be receiving as a gift. Take a moment to highlight a verse or write a brief note to the seniors.

Theology for the Church

Most Sunday nights at 4 PM CHBC offers this series of classes that dives deeper into specific areas of theology. Every Christian is a theologian, and we want to help you better understand God and His Word. The teachers for these studies are Dylan Barber, Bryce Schmidt, and Daniel Suttle.

VBS Training

Vacation Bible School is one of the largest churchwide outreach opportunities we engage in each year. Join the rest of the volunteers who will serving during the week of VBS for training led by Tom Hollis. You will leave the training ready to begin preparing lessons, decorations, and activities which will engage children with the good news of Jesus. Men’s Frat II

Men’s Fraternity is a Bible Study for men that meets on a semester basis. The spring study is The Conviction to Lead. All ages of men are invited to join one of our four Discipleship Groups that are offered on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings. The Pursuit of Holiness

The Young Adult Ministry at CHBC offers this weeknight Bible study for single or married young adults. This study meets in the home of Jake Cribbs who facilities the fellowship and discussion for the group. The current study is centered around developing a life of holiness. At The Table

At the Table is the name of our Adult Wednesday Night Bible Study in the Fall and Spring semesters of the Year. Pastor Mark leads this study that focuses on developing community and a deeper understanding of a life following Christ. This year At the Table is focused on learning the key elements of our faith by learning the New City Catechism. For more information about this study email   or visit the website.

Gospel of John

The Student Ministry meets every Wednesday night at 6 PM for fellowship, worship, preaching, and small groups. The current preaching series for our students is a study in the Gospel of John, as they learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus, by learning from His life and teachings. AWANA Store Night

AWANA is a high energy environment on Wednesday nights for preschoolers and children. Each week during the school year a large staff of volunteers are listening to verses, leading games, and teaching the Bible to our children. As they attend and accomplish goals, the children earn AWANA Bucks to spend at the AWANA store at the end of each semester. This week is AWANA Store Night for the Spring. The Pursuit of God

On Thursday nights the College Ministry of CHBC gathers for their weeknight Bible Study at the home of Jason and Jennifer Crosby. The night is given to fellowship, authentic relationships, and accountability. If you are in college, or are just college age, this group is for you. Comets Faith Night

CHBC is going to see the OKC Comets play baseball on May 10 at 6:05. The game is followed with a concert by Christian contemporary artist, Mac Powell. Tickets are $20. You can purchase your tickets online by using the QR code, or in person at the Welcome Center. For questions email  .

Men’s Fraternity Dinner

Every May our men gather to celebrate a year of discipleship and growth. This dinner is open to any man who wants to know more about Men’s Fraternity. At the dinner, the small group leaders are honored for their service, and men who have completed one of the series of study are recognized for their accomplishment. The night includes a catered meal, a short program, and special recognitions. Each man can invite their spouse or a special friend to attend with them. AWANA Awards Night

The end of the AWANA year is approaching. Each child will be recognized for their participation and achievements in AWANA for 2024-2025. This night is a time for family to come and celebrate their child or children together. All of the church is invited to come and celebrate with these families. Third Thursday

Third Thursday is an adult weekday Bible Study. Designed for those who are retired or semi-retired, any adult who is free at 10 AM on Thursdays is welcome to attend. As the name implies, the Bible Study happens each third Thursday of the month. Each month’s Bible Study includes a time of worship, a devotion by Pastor Mark or a special guest, a service project, and lunch. Sometimes lunch is at the church and is free of charge. CHBC hosts two podcasts, Question Mark and Equipping and Encouraging. You can subscribe to these podcasts on Apple or Spotify. Question Mark is a podcast hosted by Pastor Mark DeMoss where he answers listeners questions about life and theology. Equipping and Encouraging is a podcast hosted by Dr. Deanna Huff where she discusses issues related to lives of women who want to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

VBS

If you have not registered your child or children for VBS, now is the time. See the information above to know the dates and be taken to the registration page on our website.

Utah

20 adults and children will be going to Utah this summer to lead a children’s outreach for Valley Christian Fellowship. This is the third year in our partnership with this church as they attempt to share the gospel in the heart of Mormonism. Pray for our team as they plan, prepare, and travel to Utah to share Jesus boldly.

Cross Timbers

Falls Creek
