Dear Capitol Hill Baptist Church,
Over the last several months, we, the elected Search Committee for the vacancy of Pastor for Student and Family Ministry have diligently met, prayed, and sought the Lord to lead us to the candidate we believe God has chosen for us to fill this position. We are thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness and your patience in the process. We are grateful to be able to share with you that this coming Sunday we will be announcing a candidate to you, our church family. You will receive information in the Worship Bulletin that will give you our candidate’s name, some biographical information, and a schedule of events for the In View of a Call Sunday, which will be March 1, 2026. On that Sunday you will have several opportunities to hear from our candidate, interact with him and his wife, and following the evening service hear a recommendation from us, the Search Committee in a Special Called Members’ Meeting for the purpose of considering this candidate to receive a call from CHBC.
