Mark has served as the pastor of Capitol Hill since 2006. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 and Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1998. Mark is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is expected to complete it in 2026. Prior to coming to CHBC, he served in Youth Ministry in Texas and Oklahoma. Mark has also served in College Ministry in Oklahoma, as well as Pastoral Ministry in Tuttle, OK and Bartlesville, OK. He and his wife Susan have two kids Noah and his wife, Emma; and Hannah and future son in law, Corey. Mark enjoys travel, finding good food, and being outdoors. Mark's favorite passages of Scripture are Galatians 2:20 and 2 Timothy 4:2.
