Discipleship Resources - September 24, 2020
CHBC,
For many of us our spiritual growth takes a back seat to the many other responsibilities we have in our lives. But this should be a central priority for each of us. Every Christian is part of the disciple-making of other believers. Whether you are discipling your children, or grandchildren, or you are just interacting with other Christians throughout the week, you should be feeding your heart and mind the things of God, so you can live and teach what you know to others. Here are some resources to encourage your spiritual growth:
- Resources from Ligonier Ministries, Union with Christ, sermon by Sinclair Ferguson (watch the free first lesson in this series)
- Resources from ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors), The Refiner’s Fire, blog by Paul Tautges
- Resources from ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors), Despair: A Medical Perspective, podcast by Dale Johnson
- Resources from Grace to You, Divine Compassion in Common Grace, sermon by John MacArthur
- Printable Bible Reading Plan, Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan, by Navigators
- Music Video, Death Was Arrested, by Northpoint InsideOut
- The Briefing Podcast, New Episodes of the Briefing, by Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr.
