Discipleship Resources - September 24, 2020

CHBC,

For many of us our spiritual growth takes a back seat to the many other responsibilities we have in our lives. But this should be a central priority for each of us. Every Christian is part of the disciple-making of other believers. Whether you are discipling your children, or grandchildren, or you are just interacting with other Christians throughout the week, you should be feeding your heart and mind the things of God, so you can live and teach what you know to others. Here are some resources to encourage your spiritual growth:

CHBC Re-Gathering September 27, 2020

CHBC,
Sunday Worship Services now include both Sunday School and Corporate Worship again. We are grateful we have been able to return to regrouping in Sunday School at 9 AM. While we have had to adjust how and where some of our groups meet, we are thankful to be able to provide the opportunity. Using the RSVP on our website is still important to help prepare our preschool for ETC (Extended Teaching Care) during the Worship Service, and for staff to prepare for proper overflow seating. You should read the CHBC Re-Grouping Plan to understand what is expected, and to know where each group will be meeting. If you are unable to join us in person, please know that we will still be providing at home Sunday School resources for you and your family.

What You and I Should Do:

  • Read the Sunday School Re-Grouping Plan
  • Watch our health and be aware of any symptoms – do not attend in person if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Join us online at the CHBC Facebook page
  • If you have had direct contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19, follow the current health department guidelines for self-quarantine, then please worship with us online at the CHBC Facebook page.
  • Wash hands frequently, or use one of the conveniently located hand-sanitizing stations
  • Do not touch nose, eyes, or mouth
  • Keep a six-foot distance between yourself and others while talking
  • Remember that smiles and waves can communicate a warm greeting just as much as a handshake or a hug
  • Use the outside space if you desire to linger or mingle in fellowship with others before or after services
  • Use extra caution if interacting with those who are 65 years of age or older, or people who have compromised immune systems
  • Consider the use of a face covering inside the building where physical distancing might not be possible to maintain (foyer, hallways, etc.)
  • RSVP. This helps our Preschool Ministry be prepared to care for you, your children, and our guests. Your RSVP also helps us be prepared for the need for overflow seating.

RSVP Here (RSVP is for worship and ETC only, but please use this link if you plan to attend Worship or utilize ETC)

Sunday Re-Gathering for September 27, 2020

If you forget to RSVP you are still welcome to attend, or to bring a guest, just be aware that those who arrive late may need to be seated in overflow
