As you arrive for Sunday School groups and the worship service this week, come prepared. Prepared to put others first. Prepared to share with transparency how the gospel is still transforming your life. Prepared to serve another. Prepared to hear God. Prepared to make more of Jesus than yourself or your trouble or your dreams. Prepared to learn. Prepared to worship. Prepared to go from the gathering back to the field of mission.
On February 16, Capitol Hill Baptist Church is hosting our annual marriage dinner. This year’s theme: Always and Forever. Dinner starts at 6:30 PM. You can register in person at the church or online at this link: Always and Forever. The cost is $20 per couple. Childcare is available by reservation. This would be a great way for you to invest in friends who do not attend church. Pay for their dinner and invite them to join you.
Do not forget to stop by the table with the iPad kiosks in the main hallway. You can look up the name of your elected representatives, write a note, and leave it in the basket. Those notes will be distributed on Rose Day, Feb. 7, to the Capitol. This is a way for us to keep advocating for the life of every human being from womb to tomb. Learn more about this at the link: Rose Day.
