DISCIPLESHIP RESOURCES

The primary mandate of Jesus Christ to the local church, as well as to individual Christians, is “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:18-20). How do you disciples someone?

You can disciple through a formal arrangement by meeting regularly one on one or in a small group. You can disciple by teaching a class where multiple people attend as learners, while you teach and facilitate the learning. But you can also disciple in everyday conversation. In fact we should be engaged in all of these ways of discipleship. Regardless of the manner in which you are being discipled, and are making disciples, you need to be growing spiritually.

Nothing replaces the time you spend studying your Bible. But everyone of us needs resources that will help us understand better what the Bible is teaching us. The resource list we send each week is meant to be places that you can trust for sound doctrine, which is essential for spiritual growth. God bless you as you explore the articles, podcasts, and videos below.
