Read Acts 10:44: “While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.”
The Holy Spirit is free to do what He does, like the wind blows where it wishes, according to Jesus in John 3. But, was there something about what Peter was saying that correlates between the Holy Spirit choosing to fall upon these people? Peter was preaching and exalting Jesus’ person and work. Church, we must exalt Christ and pray for the Holy Spirit to come upon with power for bold witness and good works that cause men to glorify God.
