DISCIPLESHIP RESOURCES
Do you do anything to prepare for the Resurrection Sunday Celebration? It is interesting to me that many religions in the world have a time of preparation before major holy days on their calendar. Muslims prepare for Ramadan with a time of prayer and fasting. Jewish adherents prepare for Passover by ridding the home of anything leavened. Catholics and some protestants use Lent as a time of preparation leading up to Easter.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just the most significant event for Christianity, it is the most important event for all of eternity. We should not casually approach this day where the church worldwide is celebrating the Resurrection. Begin now to read, pray, and meditate on the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord. Some of these resources will help direct your heart toward the hope found alone in the gospel, which includes the incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
