CHBC,

While we are beginning to progress towards more normal at CHBC, we are also still in some very uncertain times as a nation. During these moments it is critical that we stay established in a biblical worldview. May these resources equip you as you attempt to equip your children, your family, your friends, and your neighbors.

CHBC – Update to Re-Gathering for June
On Sunday night the pastors of CHBC met with a group of other spiritual leaders and advisors that have helped to guide CHBC through the COVID-19 pandemic result on church activities. This response team wants to help CHBC continue progressing towards normal. While the current suggested meeting protocols provided by the state of Oklahoma and the CDC does not allow Sunday School groups to meet because of physical distancing, the goal was to resume as much normal gatherings as possible.
Attached is the original Re-Gathering Plan with some updates. Please let me summarize what will change here in the body of this email. You can use the attachment to read further at your leisure. Here is a summary of the progress we will be able to make in June.

  • Morning Worship Service at 10 AM not 10:15 AM - 10 AM!
  • During this worship service we will honor physical distancing
  • Overflow seating will be provided in other rooms in the church for those who may be uncomfortable in the larger gathering
  • RSVP at this link: RSVP for CHBC Re-Gathering (this is to help us prepare proper seating in the Worship Center and overflow rooms)
  •  ETC care will resume this week (ETC is for children 3 years and younger) during the Worship Service
  • Spanish speaking morning worship at Noon
  • Evening worship will resume this week at 5 PM and will include ETC
  • Summer Wednesday programming will start on June 10

We are excited about this progress. Please contact us if you have any questions. And remember if you are 65 and over, or in the vulnerable category the CDC still suggests you avoid places with large crowds. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus please stay home and follow the guidelines of the department of health.
